This is the fantastic history of your father.

He was born 16 April, 1897 at Missouri Valley, Iowa.  He belonged to the ROTC at the University of Nebraska.  He joined the Army as an officer right after college graduation in 1915.  They sent him to the Texas border with Mexico to fight under General Pershing aancho Villa.  He made a career of the army and then retired.


Peral Harbor occurred on December 7, 1941.  He was called back to start active duty on December 29, 1941 as a Major.  He served at Field Artillery Replacement Center, Ft. Sill, Oklahoma; Camp Roberts, California; Ireland Base Command; Replacement Centers in Iceland, England and France.


At the end of the war, he worked with John Eisenhower (son of General Eisenhower) to help set up the Nuremberg trials.
