Dianne's connection to the Stuhr Museum at Grand Island, Nebraska
Dianne's Great Great Grandmother was Catherina (Trina) Stuhr. The first cousin of Catherina (Trina) Stuhr was Peter Stuhr. Peter Stuhr was one of the founders of Grand Island, Nebraska and he homesteaded at Grand Island in about 1857. The farm that he homesteaded at Grand Island was used by his son Leo Stuhr to create the Stuhr Museum at Grand Island, Nebraska.
Both Catherina (Trina) Stuhr and her cousin Peter Stuhr lived part of the time at Davenport, Scott County, IA. Catherina (Trina) Stuhr had a daughter named Lena Leuenhagen born 3 Sep 1872 at Davenport, Scott County, IA. The cousin Peter Stuhr had his son Leo Stuhr born 17 Mar 1878 at Davenport, Scott County, IA.
