This has been a good and exciting year. I am still alive.doing well and am turning 87 at the end of this year. I started this year spending 10 days in Belize in January with my son David and grandson Paul. From January 20th to March 3rd, I be spent at South Padre Island, Texas.

My Granddaughter Kathryn Picton was in a team of 4, who recently competed in FFA at Nationals in Indiana in the field of Vet Science. She and her team placed 4th in the nation against a team from each state in the nation. She received a gold individual ranking as well. The previous semester she and her team won the Nebraska State FFA Vet Science Event.

This summer I tried to get out as much as possible by going over to different parks in Blair and walking on their paths. It continues to become more difficult for me to walk any great distance.

My two sons (David and Stephen) are still able to work mostly at home online and both they and their families are doing well. David at Blair, NE and Stephen at Brookfield, IL.

My son Stephen, daughter-in-law Kelly and my Grandchildren Zachary and Anna are doing well. Granddaughter Anna is Freshmen at Augustana College at Rock Island, IL. Grandson Zachary is taking a little time off from college, has a job, has an apartment, lives in Chicago, IL and making plans to return to college. Kelly continues to be in charge of preschools and also starting a science preschool for the City of Brookfield IL.

Kathryn is a Junior in high school, was inducted into the National Honor Society, is in 'Show Choir', on a FFA team that ranked 4th in the nation in the field of Vet Science,and raising animals such as goats. Paul is in the eighth grade and doing well.
